After having gained a GCSE in Art many years ago I took up painting again in 2022 while visiting Seville. Inspired and invigorated by the vibrant colours and some much-needed vitamin D, I was initially drawn to watercolours for their ease of use whilst out and about and for the chance to immerse myself in my surroundings. As a neurodivergent person who frequently finds themselves overwhelmed by the sheer commotion of 21st century living there’s something very soothing about pausing to delve into the detail of the everyday. I’m particularly interested in capturing quirky buildings as well as the people who inhabit them. I’m thrilled that my painting of south Manchester’s forgotten landmark, The Toast Rack, has been selected for the Manchester Open 2024 exhibition.

My painting are available as prints via my etsy store. For commissions, please get in touch via the contact page.
